A track from Caravan’s 1973 album For Girls Who Grow Plump In The Night, all the other tracks on this record are pretty good too. Caravan, led by singer, guitarist, song writer Pye Hastings, were part of the Canterbury scene. Their other albums are excellent, at least up as far as 1976’s Blind Dog At St Dunstan’s, the others after that are probably good as well, I’m just not familiar with them.

National Health – Tenemos Roads
Posted: February 21, 2013 in Canterbury, Music, RockTags: Canterbury, Dave Stewart, keyboards, National Health, Phil Miller, Rock
Dave Stewart’s song Tenemos Roads opens National Health’s self-titled first album. Like all of the so called Canterbury bands, National Health recorded some excellent tracks, Tenemos Roads is one of those. Interesting keyboards from Dave Stewart, some nice guitar from Phil Miller and some slightly jazzy vocalizations from Amanda Parsons.
